Are the course fees yearly or for the entire program?

The course fees are for the entire program. View our course fees.

What diplomas do you have?

Our diplomas include business, communication and creative industries, engineering, health, information technology and social science.

What are your admission requirements?

Our admission requirements depend on if you are an international student or from Australia or New Zealand. View our admission requirements.

Can you help with visas?

We cannot provide any visa advice. We recommend speaking to your local student representative or the Department of Home Affairs.

Can you please guide on applications process?

The application process is the following:
1. Apply online

2. Attach supporting document

3. Receive your Letter of Offer via email

4. Accept your Letter of Offer

How long between application submission and receiving an offer/update?

After you submit your application, you can generally expect to receive an update within 72 hours. In certain cases, it may be a couple of days extra.

Do you accept Duolingo for international students?

Duolingo is assessed on a case by case basis. Please contact us to find out more.

What level are you located on?

SIBT reception is on level 4.

I need enrolment assistance, where can I find it?

View enrolment information. If you need further assistance, we recommend booking an appointment with our Student Admin team.

Can I study online or do I have to come to campus?

All classes are held on campus. Please refer to your timetable for class allocation.

How do I access the library?

International Student FAQs

Who is considered an Onshore International student and how can I apply?

If you’re currently in Australia and you are planning to begin a new study program, or continue into a further study program you are considered an Onshore International Student.

This can also include students who will study at Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) using a visa other than an international student visa.

If you meet the entry requirements, you can apply directly to Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) via the StudyLink application portal. We will then send you more directions on any information or documentation you may need to send. What are my options if I’m in Australia and want to commence study with the College?

If you’re an international student already in Australia (Onshore) and would like to discuss your study options at Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT), including transfers, simply complete the Contact Us form and our team will help you explore the best pathway for your goals.
