At Navitas, we not only pride ourselves as leading education providers, but we also take our responsibilities to identify and mitigate risks to our students very seriously. Due to the risk of human rights and modern slavery being prevalent in the international education sector, it is our duty to help students understand this important topic.
Modern slavery is a global issue that affects millions of people, often in hidden and complex ways. It can include forced labour, deceptive recruiting and human trafficking.
As an organisation, we are dedicated to preventing and eradicating this issue in all its forms by increasing awareness among our students. This working group was formed to lead, support and progress Navitas in the identification, assessment and mitigation of Modern Slavery risks to students during the student life cycle across the global business.
