U@MQ is Macquarie University’s student services organisation that provides a variety of essential services and facilities to ensure that students enjoy a healthy and balanced community environment. These include food and retail outlets, sport and recreation facilities and services, student clubs and societies, child care facilities and a wide variety of events and entertainment. Water poloU@MQ – Sport & Recreation
U@MQ Sport and Recreation provides an exciting range of sporting and recreation activities to make your time at university active and enjoyable. In June 2007 the new Sport and Aquatic Centre was opened, which includes a heated outdoor 50 metre swimming pool, a 25 metre heated indoor swimming pool and gymnasium as well as group fitness, cycling and yoga studios. The Centre also includes squash courts, a basketball hall, sports hall, badminton courts and a martial arts area - so there’s something for everyone. Memberships are available for SIBT students at discounted rates. SIBT students also have the opportunity to participate in various recreation activities such as snow skiing, surfing, skydiving and scuba diving just to name a few. On top of this, the short course program gives you the chance to try new activities including fencing, golf, salsa and tennis.  Macquarie Global Leadership Program

The Macquarie Global Leadership Program (GLP) offers SIBT students the opportunity to gain a competitive edge by developing cross-cultural awareness and leadership skills, as well as obtaining practical international experience.
