SIBT classroom environment

Small classes (maximum 50 students per lecture and 25 students per tutorial) encourage higher levels of lecturer/student interaction. This provides SIBT students with the opportunity to receive individual attention, gain a solid understanding of their area of study and assists continued performance at university. To further enhance the students learning experience, all SIBT lecture rooms contain state of the art audiovisual equipment, allowing lecturers to deliver course content using interactive technologies including video, audio, DVD and visual presentations.

SIBT student population

One out of every four students at SIBT is an Australian citizen. With students coming from over 50 countries, SIBT is an ideal environment to make friends, establish international networks and experience the Australian culture.

Computer facilities

SIBT students enjoy access to six computer laboratories located within the SIBT building, including free usage of over 200 computers, internet connection, printing facilities and access to online study material. Dedicated IT personnel are available to assist students.

Online technology @ SIBT

SIBT offers students the flexibility to design a timetable that suits their lifestyle and commitments. The SIBT student portal is an online communication tool that allows students to choose their units, enrol, receive exam results, check exam dates and obtain other critical information.
